The interview was conducted over the phone. The interviewer seemed unable to answer any of my questions. They asked very basic, yes/no questions. They asked if I would be okay with a purely commission job but couldn't provide any details on what the commission structure actually looked like. They were also unaware of the peak business seasons. It felt like someone just reading from a script, possibly even an AI.

I had a phone call from a recruiter for my initial interview. I am waiting on a 2nd zoom call interview from a manager. I am optimistic and I look forward to hearing more about the position, benefits, and the shop.

It was an easy interview conversation where they described the role and expectations. They offered me a job at the end of a light chat. It didn't take long and I didn't need to dress up too much. There is a training course that requires you to be in St. Louis for a period of time depending on your industry knowledge.

A recruiter from Dent Wizards reached out about the position and confirmed my interest before scheduling the interview. During the meeting, we discussed the daily expectations, what Dent Wizards does, who their clients are (companies and the public), my work hours, and the salary. We also talked about other tasks that might come up during the week. To wrap things up, I was asked if I had any questions or anything I was unsure about. I felt really comfortable and welcomed throughout the whole thing. It was a good vibe.

  • When are you available to work?
  • Can you tell me what day during the week you are available to come in, besides the days mentioned in the job ad?
