DENSO Mechanical Engineer Interview Questions
& Process

I first applied on Denso's website. About two weeks later, I got an email asking for more info, which I sent back. After a silence, I emailed HR to check if the job was still open. The HR lady said I could come in for an interview. The interview was pretty straightforward. I met with three engineers, including a senior one, and the HR rep. They mostly asked me to walk through my resume and then asked some basic questions. I also had to do a 2D drawing test. They said they'd let me know within two weeks.

I sent in my resume and we connected at a career fair. The next day, I had an interview on campus with the design team supervisor and an HR person. Later that week, I got a call for an on-site interview, which took place a couple of weeks after that. After the on-site interview, they offered me the job. The on-campus interview was mainly about my resume. The on-site involved two people from the design team, a plant tour, resume questions, and a couple of critical thinking questions.

I had a 30-minute phone interview with three team members. A few days later, I was notified to have an onsite interview. The onsite took 4 hours, with face-to-face interviews with team members followed by a company tour.
