The process was very clear. The first round was to get to know you better and for you to know the position better. The second round included feedback on the first interview, a case study, and personality test results. It was a fantastic experience. The HR team was very friendly and easy to talk to. The hiring managers cared more about attitude than just skills and experience. They would give opportunities to those with limited experience but a strong desire to learn.

The first interview was a deep dive technically, going on for more than two hours. We talked about everything from sorting out logic puzzles, specific coding principles, to how systems work overall. The people interviewing were cool, and it was a decent experience even though it was tough. They get back to you pretty quickly with feedback.

The interview process has 3 rounds. The first round involves recording 2 short videos, with unlimited attempts. The second round is an assessment day that includes a case study, group activities, and a short 1:1 interview. The third round consists of online tests and a long 1:1 interview. This is similar to other graduate programs in Copenhagen.

The interview had 3 parts. First, HR gave me a quick call on my cell to check if I was still keen. Then, I had a 2-hour technical interview with the team lead and an engineer. The next step was supposed to be an in-person meeting with the team. I got rejected after the second step. The technical interview felt like a Q&A session, covering everything from system-level design to the meaning of particular C keywords. They went deep into core embedded system stuff. After the interview, the team lead rang me up to explain in detail why they decided not to move forward with my application. The whole thing was fast and pretty good. A bit of a bummer that the technical test focused more on memorization than real problem-solving skills.
