The interview was set up for entry-level candidates, but it was conducted using the STAR method, which I wasn't ready for since I've been out of the workforce for a while. It was a bit challenging because it's an entry-level job, yet I was asked about safety and customer service scenarios, even though it's been years since I last dealt with those situations.

I applied online on their website back in October 2015 and within a week I got an email for an interview. In November, I went for the interview. First, they had us all sit in a room together and showed us videos about Delta and the company. Then they took people in one-on-one. The interview itself wasn't too bad, maybe about 30 minutes long. I got a call a week later with a job offer. I started training in December 2015. I'd suggest answering all the questions using the STAR method.

Behavioral Presentation

I got an email for a face-to-face interview that covered four different positions. They asked me to bring extra clothes, which I did. After I was asked three questions, I got to ask some questions too. He thanked me for coming and when I asked about the next steps, he said they would get together as a group and make follow-up calls. The email mentioned it would be 4-6 hours long, so I'm guessing I didn't get the job because after my initial three questions, they decided not to move forward with me.

  • Can you describe a situation where you dealt with a challenging customer and explain your approach?
