Graduate Assistant
It was a great experience meeting the entire staff and getting a feel for the place. The atmosphere was great, and I enjoyed meeting all the staff. I wouldn't worry too much about the interview process with this department.
- How did you hear about our organization?
Graduate Assistant
I had an initial phone call with the department head. Then, I had a zoom call with the department head and the current graduate assistants. After that, I was offered the position.
- What skills make you most suited to this role?
Marketing
It was a long interview day, about 4-5 hours total. I met with about 12 different people who were all in that specific department. I had to go from building to building to meet them. Everyone was really nice.
- Could you start by telling me about yourself?
Residence Hall Director
I had been a Residence Assistant for a year and a half, and then I got the chance to run my own residence hall. The entire interview process was conducted over the phone. I already knew the director really well at this point, and she was fully aware of both my strengths and my weaknesses.
- What makes you want to become a hall director?
