Went through an initial group interview and then got called back for a one-on-one. Had a phone interview with the team that's already in place. They did lengthy background and reference checks. Also had to do assessment tests. It felt like I jumped through a bunch of hoops and had to clarify things as I went. Standard on-boarding stuff too. It was disappointing that there wasn't any clear follow-up from the management team.

I applied online and got an email the same day to set up an initial phone screen. They also asked me to write a response to "What appealed to you about this opportunity and how has your background prepared you to be successful in it?" before the call. I picked a time from their online calendar to schedule the phone screen and emailed my response. The person on the phone screen turned out to be from a third-party company, which is worth noting because it has its upsides and downsides for Delta. Since the third-party rep didn't know much about the job, they couldn't answer many of my questions, but they can spot keywords since they aren't as familiar with the role. Make sure to tailor your answers using keywords from the job description. I was told that Delta moves fast, so I should expect a call the next week, or I could call them. I didn't get a call, so I called the rep back.

I found this job through a recruiter and there were two interview rounds. First, there was a casual chat with the recruiter about potential interview questions. Then, the person who was supposed to interview me had an emergency, so someone who seemed like they were still in high school interviewed me instead. They asked personal questions like 'tell me about yourself'.

First I had a one-on-one with the manager of the department, then it was a panel interview with 3 people from the QA team. After that, I had another 1-on-1 with the manager again, and then they invited me back to interview with his whole team. In the end, they hired someone else because they had more recent phone experience.
