The DSA questions asked in the interview were quite easy and covered topics like pattern printing, checking if a string is a palindrome, and generating a Fibonacci series. Besides DSA, the interview mainly focused on DBMS concepts and SQL queries, so having strong command over them is very important. It’s also useful to know some Python libraries such as Pandas and NumPy, as they are widely used in data-related roles. If you have mentioned any Position of Responsibility (POR) in your resume, you should be ready for some behavioral questions based on that experience. Overall, the interview was easy and manageable. Just try to communicate clearly and confidently, because communication skills matter a lot in this interview.

The recruiter reached out to me to set up the interview and also asked about my salary expectations. When I said 52K, she replied that it wasn’t acceptable because the role needed 3 years of experience and had demanding responsibilities. Even though I said I was open to negotiate, she told me the interview could not move forward.
