Behavioral Case

The recruitment process started with an HR call where they seemed uninterested and monotone, but they confirmed I had the experience for the next stage. Then, I had a conversation with the hiring manager which seemed to go well, and they mentioned a case study would be the next step. Unfortunately, after that, I was ghosted for three weeks, only to receive a generic rejection email with no explanation or feedback.

The process was pretty fast and simple, with 4 interviews total. It started with a quick HR chat (30 minutes), then I spoke with the Hiring Manager (1 hour). After that, I had a session with members of the Product and Design team (1 hour), and the final interview was with someone from the Engineering team (45 minutes).

So I had this interview process that went on for about two months and it was 6 rounds in total. All the interviewers were really professional and made me feel like a great fit for the role, except for the very last one. This one interviewer joined our video call super late. After introductions, he started asking me personal questions about people I know at Delivery Hero, while laughing. It was incredibly disrespectful. I would've reported him to HR, but he's a top manager there. I'm not sure what happened after that, but they ended up rejecting me without giving any reason.
