I had two interviews for this role. First up was an HR interview, which went well, and then I got a case study to work on. Once I finished that, I had a technical interview where we talked about the case study. The HR part was pretty good and friendly; they didn't ask the usual boring questions, which was a nice change and made it feel more professional.

I had a recruiter call first. Then a technical interview that I thought went well, but I guess not since I didn't move forward. I got zero feedback. Then just a generic email saying goodbye without any explanation or feedback. Really poor candidate experience. The technical interviewer seemed to dislike me, though they hid it well and acted like we were having a good time. So watch out, they don't tell you if your answers are not good. You should ask if your answer is okay or if they need more info. I think they're looking for passion and motivation, even though they don't share much about themselves, so you'll have to ask a lot about the company. This seems to be a hidden test. Make sure to highlight how much you value product quality.

The interview process had 4 main parts. First, a 15-20 min HR interview. Then, a 1-hour technical discussion with the Manager about past experience and some technical questions. After that, a 1-hour pair programming round with team members for a coding question and technical discussion. Next, a 1-hour Bar raiser interview, which was funny because a backend developer interviewed a frontend developer. Finally, a 30-min discussion with the Department head.
