First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Deliveroo.
Sales
There are about 4 to 5 rounds. You'll need to do a case study. The interviewers might be team leads or other team members. The process starts with an HR call, then you'll meet the hiring manager, followed by a case study, a value-based discussion, and a business interview.
- Can you share your perspective on Deliveroo's core values?
Sales
So, the way hiring works here is it's a bunch of different steps. Mostly, it's just interviews, you know, sometimes it's just you and them, sometimes it's a group thing, or a panel. And they can happen, like, in person, or over the phone, or even email, or video calls.
- The interview process is a multi-step procedure for onboarding new hires. The steps primarily involve job interviews conducted either individually, with a group of candidates, or with a panel. Interviews are carried out in person, via phone or email, or through video conferencing platforms.

Sales Role
It started with a quick phone call, quite conversational. They asked about my knowledge of Deliveroo. The call was frequently interrupted by bad reception, which was annoying. I then had a second interview, for which I traveled a considerable distance after work. This interview took place in a busy lobby area with people passing by, making it very distracting. Given that I made the effort to attend, I would have expected a private room. The management came across as a bit awkward in person; I couldn't quite pinpoint why. After a week of no feedback, I emailed to follow up, but received no response. This was the most unprofessional interview experience I've had, seeming very disorganized.
- In this role, who would be your primary focus?
- Mainly, who would be your responsibility?
