First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Delegate Solutions.
Administrative Assistant
It was a video conference, and the interviewer was really nice, professional, and thorough. She did a great job explaining the hiring process and mentioned that the company is growing, so more roles will open up. It was a pleasure chatting with Anne-Marie.
- What role do you envision for yourself within a team setting?
Administrative Assistant
The initial interview was via an automated phone system that was broken. About a week later, I got an email apologizing and inviting me to a Zoom interview, done in two parts. The first day, I talked with two women, one of whom is listed in the company directory, but the other seems to be the company's ***. They were both professional. My kids kept coming into my office during the interview, but the interviewer seemed understanding. In between interview parts, I had to record a video of myself in my home office, explaining why I wanted to join and showing my space, as the company wants a professional, private-looking executive office. The second part was a Zoom meeting with a manager. I scheduled it, but during the meeting, she didn't turn her camera on, which felt awkward. She had me click on areas of my computer without warning, giving her access to check my internet speed and system. She said my computer was old but that my internet speed was good. She assured me I was a great candidate. The next day, I was rejected via email. I asked for feedback but never heard back. My advice is: don't record videos of yourself or your space, and don't give anyone access to your computer. I felt vulnerable. The company doesn't seem very empowering to women.
- What makes you enjoy this kind of job and why would you want to do it for Delegate?
Customer Service Associate
It was a normal interview, just over video chat instead of in person. Like, I did it from my home office. The person interviewing me was really good and seemed interested in my past experience and jobs.
- Can you give examples of times you had to juggle multiple tasks and explain how you succeeded?
