First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Delaware Claims Processing Facility.
Claims Representative
It was a pretty easy interview process. They had me take an analytical reasoning test at the end of the interview. I talked to a director and a manager, and then I started training about a month later.
- Can you tell me about a time you had a disagreement with a coworker?
Claims Analyst
The interview process was a bit lengthy. I was brought into a conference room for some typical questions, and the interviewer was pleasant. The atmosphere wasn't negative. Be prepared to ask your own questions, as they will ask you some. Following the interview, there was a test in a separate room, involving an analytical section and a reading comprehension section. While timing wasn't critical, the score was. Passing both sections above a certain percentage was required, and notification of the results was sent via mail.
- In what ways has your college major impacted your professional work?
Claims Reviewer
First, I had a chat with HR. Then, there were two timed assessments, basically aptitude tests. I had to get an average of at least 90% on both. They were standard tests, covering reading comprehension, problem-solving, and some basic math.
- How do you cope with stress?
Administrative Assistant
I was brought in through a staffing agency and worked for two months as an intake specialist. Then I was hired full-time as the assistant to the executive director.
- What do you consider your greatest strength?
