It was a basic interview with standard questions about my work experience, mostly physical. Most questions were about how I'd handle a situation, like de-escalating tough scenarios or helping customers and coworkers with problems.

They get straight to the point and, like all interviews, you need to sell your personality. It's a more professional setting than you might be used to. It's always a plus to mention if you are in the military or were because this way the management knows you will work hard and you are serious about working here. One of the key questions is how long you plan to work for this agency, your best answer would be as long as you guys let me.

The hiring process was quite straightforward, though it did take a significant amount of time from when I first applied until my start date. I submitted my application through USA Jobs. About two weeks after the posting closed, I had to make over 20 calls to the store to confirm if I was among the top 5 candidates considered.

I applied back in February and it took about two months for them to get back to me and set up the interview. They sent over the interview questions like 30 minutes before we were supposed to start.
