First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at DEF-LOGIX.
Software Developer
Basically, an informal interview that includes a small technical part. They want to get to know you and see if you have the skills. They want to make sure you're interested in the job for reasons beyond just the salary.
- What makes you want to join this company?
Reverse Engineer
I sat in a room with 2 people and the interview was split into 3 parts. First, they asked me some get-to-know-you questions. Second, they asked me general Cyber operations questions about things like CLI, ports, OSI, and protocols. Third, I had a whiteboard programming session. I wasn't told about this beforehand and wasn't fully ready for it because the job didn't seem like it would need this, and it wasn't mentioned as a required skill in the job listing.
- How would you remove a directory in Linux?
Technical Writer
The executive manager emailed me right after we met at a job fair. Then, I was called for an onsite interview within 2 weeks. However, it took them a long 6 months to reply back after the interview because of some internal stuff and deadlines.
- Can you tell me about a research project you really liked?
