I found the job on Indeed and got a call for a quick phone interview. They asked a few questions about my experience and different scenarios. Then, I was invited for a second round with some department heads. This interview was pretty long, about 1.5 hours, and they really emphasized explaining the role and checking if I'd be a good cultural fit. I liked that the process felt human, with a person reviewing my resume, not just AI.

The interviewer was very friendly and made sure I was comfortable, explaining the work culture. They mentioned they are willing to train me to grow into the role, as this might be my first management position. They assured me I would know within 2 days if they decide to bring me on.

It was a pretty chill interview, took place at the office of the person interviewing me. Took about half an hour. I wore semi-casual clothes. Pretty much just a Q&A, then they hit me with a couple of specific situation questions. Make sure you come ready with a lesson plan you've made!

They started with a recruiter call and asked for 2 references from 2 supervisors and a cover letter which were already very detailed. I then had to explain why I want to work at DV Ski School and what value I do bring to the table. All new hires with level 2 and below certification start at the children's ski school. The interview was via Skype, and it was a presentation.
