I talked with the manager of the squad, and we went over some technical questions and scenarios. They asked me about packet captures and malware, and also about my experience and work history. I asked them about the turnover rate and how often people got promoted to other jobs.

Behavioral Technical

A recruiter from Deepwatch reached out to me on LinkedIn. There were 4 rounds of interviews, mostly to check my personality and team fit. The first round was with the recruiter to discuss the company and my background. The second round was with the hiring manager. The third round involved 2 team members and was more technical, asking questions related to my daily job. The fourth round was a final vibe check with the Director of the department. Everyone was professional, polite, and engaging.

Technical Behavioral Group

I went through 8 rounds of interviews over the course of a month, including technical, behavioral, and team fit assessments. Unfortunately, I didn't get the job because they decided to go with an internal candidate. The company seemed very disorganized and I suspect they have issues with race and gender discrimination in their hiring. It felt like a waste of time.
