First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Decisive Analytics Corporation.
Software Developer
I applied through a consultancy and interviewed at Decisive Analytics Corporation in Bangalore. I answered all questions correctly, but I wasn't selected, which was shocking and a waste of time. I think they were just passing the time.
- Questions about SQL, C#, and Asp.Net MVC were asked.
IT Manager
It was a quick and easy process. First, I had a 30-minute phone screen. After that, we set up an in-person meeting that lasted a couple of hours. We talked about the environment and what needs to be done, and I shared some of my ideas, which was helpful.
- Can you describe your technical background and your skills?
- How do you envision contributing to our team?
- What are your ideas regarding our current environment and the tasks that need to be accomplished?
Software Engineer
It started with a phone call with some people from the team I was hoping to join. They asked me non-technical stuff, mostly about why I wanted the job and what I'd done before. A couple days later, they rang back to set up a full day of interviews. I met with lots of different people – team members, managers, and HR. I also had to do a 30-minute technical presentation. The questions from the team and managers weren't really technical. I got plenty of time to ask my own questions and met a wide variety of folks. They gave me a job offer a few days after that.
- What is your definition of an ideal job?
Marketing Graphics Associate
I had a phone screening first, then I interviewed with the VP of Business Administration for about an hour. About a week later, I had a second interview with the VP and some other business team members. They explained the job, some projects, and goals. They asked about my experience and I got to ask questions too.
- Can you describe how you manage your time when working on several projects at once?
