I had a call with the recruiter first, then an in person interview. It was a fun interview, even though I didn't get the offer. Be prepared for questions you don't expect and be ready to think quickly.

I applied via LinkedIn and HR contacted me within hours to set up an interview. They scheduled it for the next day at a time that worked for me, and everyone was very friendly. The interview itself was different than expected; I wasn't told I'd be interviewed by three Mexican people. While nationality isn't an issue, I was expecting an HR interview in English and wasn't prepared for a Spanish interview with three people. They asked about my experience, previous roles, and for examples, but I felt they didn't like me, mainly because of my nationality. I never heard back, so I guess that's a no, but they could have at least notified me.

The whole process took about 3 weeks from applying to getting hired. It started with a recruiter interview with Daria, who was super thorough and kept me updated the whole time. Then I had a peer interview with two people from the company. They asked really interesting questions and were honest about the company's current situation, which was great. After that was the manager interview, which went really well – we clicked instantly, and it was an easy decision for me. Finally, I had an interview with the CCO, which was similar to the manager interview. The decision was already made by then. Daria, the recruiter, was amazing at communicating and never missed a beat with updates. I really enjoyed working with her!

The recruiter was super nice and kept me in the loop. But the last round involved a project that took hours, and then I only had 15 minutes to present it. The next week, I got an automated rejection, saying they chose someone else. I put a lot of effort into that project and had some really solid ideas. It would've been better to get some feedback on why they didn't go with me, or at least a personal email saying I didn't get the offer.
