Behavioral Case

The interview process was really well organized, smooth, and engaging. First, I had a thorough session with HR where they talked all about the company culture, what they expect, and the specifics of the role. They looked at my experiences, skills, and why I wanted the job, and we had a good chat so I could understand what the company needed and I could show them what I can do. Then, I had a deep dive with the COO. This part was mainly about my strategic thinking, how I solve problems, and how I'd handle made-up product situations. The COO gave me real examples of challenges the company faced and asked for my strategies to fix them. I thought this was a great way to test not just my product management knowledge but also my ability to connect my solutions to the company's overall strategy. The whole thing was actually pretty fun and gave me a really good, complete picture of the job.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was pretty standard. I first spoke with the recruiter, then the hiring manager. After that, I had an interview with the CEO. The unexpected part was a last-minute project they asked me to do, which felt a bit out of the blue and didn't seem to relate to the actual job. I never got any feedback, even when I followed up.

I was excited about this marketing operations role based on the job description and how the company seemed. However, I was surprised to get a LinkedIn message from the CEO himself to schedule the first interview. This made me reconsider, as a CEO handling initial interviews for an entry-level position suggests disorganization or something potentially questionable, so I decided not to proceed. I'd suggest being cautious.

Behavioral Other

The interviewer was nice, but I was asked what country I was from, which felt really inappropriate. As a POC, I've never been asked about my ethnic background in an interview before, so I found it quite off-putting.
