I've interviewed with this company twice in the last 6 years for a QA position. The first time, I got an offer but the position was frozen. After two months with no response from the hiring manager, it remained unaddressed. The second time, I interviewed again recently in 2021. HR interviewed me and then ghosted me without any feedback or reason for not proceeding, despite my extensive experience. This company seems unable to recognize good candidates. I advise others to stay away due to their unprofessional treatment of candidates.

I had an interview for a role that was posted on their website for 4 months, and I got referred by someone internal. They seemed like nice people in a nice new office, but let's get to it. The first HR phone interview was about 30 days after applying. There was a lot of disorganized back and forth about vacations and short weeks. Then I went to an Open House where company officers admitted to having crippling technical debt in their code. They have a 'just get it done anyway you have to' attitude and are unable to evaluate talent. I declined to complete a 'coding challenge' they offered, telling them no thanks. This seems like a good opportunity for someone new to the industry.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

My interview experience at Dealer-FX was pretty rough. The whole thing lacked transparency and fairness, and the last interview felt like a lecture. It started off okay with HR being responsive, but then it got unclear about timelines, feedback, and what the interviews were even about. I prepped a lot for the final interview with the director, but it was a disappointment. It was like an interrogation, I hardly got to talk, and the interviewer seemed uninterested. The worst part is no feedback or closure afterward. I asked HR multiple times but got no response, which felt disrespectful. Dealer-FX needs to improve its hiring process with transparency, communication, and respect. I'd tell people to be cautious about applying there until they fix these issues, otherwise, it's hard to see them getting good talent.

I had a quick Zoom call with a recruiter, then interviewed with the Regional Manager for about an hour. The process moved fast and was smooth overall. About two weeks later, I had to reach out to the recruiter for an update and got a generic reply saying I wasn't selected. Most places I've interviewed with lately haven't been great, so I thought their timing was pretty reasonable and the process was fair. It seems like pay for this job has dropped significantly since before COVID, based on what I found.
