I really like being able to do a lot of different things because it lets me be creative and think strategically. I've worked on small teams before, and I do my best work when I can help out with different parts of a project to make sure we end up with something good and all on the same page.
- How does working on multiple tasks energize you to be more creative and strategic?
- Having experience on small teams, how do you contribute across disciplines to achieve unified results?
Policy Communications Staff
We started with a questionnaire through an online platform, along with reviewing your CV and cover letter. Then there was a 30-minute online introductory call with a recruiter from De Lijn to go over your CV and experience. Finally, an in-person selection interview took place on-site in Mechelen with the department head and HR.
- Can you tell us a bit more about yourself?
- What are your thoughts on this position?
- Are you actively writing articles at the moment?
Administratief Medewerker
Applied online via an interim office, then had an interview. Very negative experience. The application process was chaotic, initially no one knew where I was supposed to be. Eventually, the interview itself was with 3 people whose roles I didn't even know. The interviewer didn't know what to say/ask. Hardly any information was given about the job content. and everything seemed very distant and stiff. Other people were also very uninterested. Ultimately rejected due to lack of motivation. Well, why would that be?
- Could you please introduce yourself?
- What would you consider to be your positive attributes?
Chauffeur
I signed up to view the jobs. I didn't want to apply directly, so I didn't fill out the online application form. A few weeks later, I received the form in the mail at home with a date for the selection tests already set. I ended up filling it out and showing up for the tests. Afterwards, I had a conversation with the HR department, which convinced me to continue with the application. After psychotechnical tests and a medical examination, I could start as a driver.
- Do you think you can balance work and personal life?
