I did an online assessment first, and then had one or two technical interviews. They asked stuff about data structures, problem solving, and my projects. There were also some basic HR questions to see how I communicate and if I'd be a good fit.

I had a quick screening call with the talent person, then a 30 minute call with the hiring manager. She started the call by saying it was short for a reason, so we didn't "waste each other's time" in case she didn't like me, and repeatedly told me I would be getting an additional call with her because she did like me, and did want more time to speak with me. She told me the talent guy would get back to me to schedule that soon. Both she and he confirmed the interview went well and I'd be hearing about next steps. Two weeks, two follow-ups, and no updates later, I've been told they selected another candidate with a generic rejection, no feedback, and no explanation as to why I didn't even get a second call, especially after being clear I was going to. Unkind and unprofessional.

The recruitment process was quite slow. Initially, there were coding-focused rounds. During the interviews, questions were rapidly presented. A significant portion of the interview time was dedicated to Storage concepts, with coding problems needing to be solved within a strict 40-minute timeframe. Conducting the interview remotely made it challenging to communicate effectively. The interviewers seemed to prioritize code implementation over logical reasoning, which felt inappropriate.

So first there was an online assessment, it had like 20 MCQs, 3 DSA questions, and then a debugging problem plus a code explanation one. Difficulty was mostly easy to medium. Then there were two technical interviews, the first one was on core CSE stuff, medium DSA, Computer Networks and OS. The second one was more on DSA and core CSE concepts again. Finally, there was a management and HR round where they asked some basic HR stuff and talked about relocation.
