I applied online and heard back from the hiring manager about 20 days later. They invited me for an interview. Two people interviewed me at the same time. It was pretty straightforward. I started by giving a quick rundown of my education, experience, and background. Then, they asked me some questions about my past projects, after which I presented my portfolio. They also asked me some design-specific questions related to projects I've completed.

The interview process starts with a pre-interview at DDG. You get a chance to tour the office and observe the architect teams working on diverse projects, including mixed-use developments and large-scale master planning. The presentations by DDG architects are exceptionally impressive, featuring advanced graphics, 3D models, and renderings. Even the catalog provided was a masterpiece, notable for its use of eco-friendly ink and paper.

It was a walk-in interview, and there were two rounds. First, an aptitude test was given, which also included BIM-related questions. Candidates who passed this test then proceeded to the interview. I was selected after the aptitude test. I went for the interview but did not receive any further communication. The selection process was very straightforward. All in all, it was a good experience.
