First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at DDB Health.
VP
Recruiter reached out because they thought I'd be a good fit. I interviewed with the hiring manager, regional head, and CEO. All the interviews were chill, conversational, and considerate. I kept getting good feedback. They made me an offer, and then... ghosted. I followed up a week later and they said they had "changes in priorities." When I asked for feedback, I got nothing. They offered the role and then ghosted me. I expected better respect and professionalism. If this is how they hire, employees should expect a bumpy ride.
- How would you handle clients that are difficult?
Project Manager
The interview process had three rounds. It started with a casual chat with the recruiter and HR. After that, I had a meeting with the hiring manager. Finally, I was interviewed by the team leads. The whole process took some time but wasn't too bad.
- Can you share a challenge you faced with a past colleague or client and how you handled it?
Account Manager
The people and personalities during the interview process were great. This company seems to want you to succeed, and you could really tell that during the interview process. The company culture has been amazing so far! I definitely recommend this company, but be prepared to work longer hours.
- Tell me about your interest in pharma advertising.
- Basic getting to know you questions.
Editorial
You start with a phone chat with HR. If they like you, they pass your resume to the hiring manager. HR then sets up an onsite interview with the hiring manager and their subordinate(s). After the interview, you don't hear back, and your follow-up emails go unanswered. So, it seems like a 'no' for now. DDB didn't even have the decency to inform you of the outcome, leaving you in limbo about your job search. No feedback at all. It was a really bad experience.
- What motivated you to apply for this role?
