The recruitment process felt pretty disrespectful. Recruiters seem to just scan resumes for keywords instead of reading them properly. They use Zoom calls, which they admit are for an AI to transcribe and summarize for a manager. The recruiter seemed bored and just asked really general questions, like 'tell me more about your programming experience,' probably to make sure the AI recorded enough. Then, they'd say you applied for a Python role but you'd actually be rewriting the codebase in Go/Rust, which is wild. When I asked about work-life balance, the answers felt dishonest and vague.

Coding Behavioral

I was contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn, and after a phone screen, I was moved to a technical round. It wasn't a leetcode-style problem, but a pair coding exercise. The problem wasn't too hard, but I'm not used to this kind of interview setup.

Behavioral Technical Coding

Starts with a HR interview, a quick call about your projects, career prospects, and a brief introduction about the company and yourself. Then, there's a call with an engineering manager, which is a more technical discussion. Following that, you'll have a pair programming interview with a simple exercise.
