First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at DBI Beverage.
Route Driver
The interviewer didn't ask many questions. He did most of the talking, like he was trying to milk his time with me. He probably didn't take me seriously. It took forever to get hired. I was promised a job after the interview.
- Is your schedule flexible?
- Is it okay for you to not have a set schedule?
- Are long 10-18 hour days okay with you?
Sales Representative
I had a 1:1 interview with a manager and then another interview with a manager in a different position. I also went on a few sales calls with an On-premise sales rep to see the job. Quick note- I was asked if I did heavy drugs or had any substance abuse issues. Not to mention I was also asked if I carried a gun, which I thought was a complete joke at first, until I got to know my boss better. Be aware that if you work in the on-premise division the other sales reps are great, but your boss is a tool and you are probably more qualified to do his job than he is.
- Do you carry a gun, are you packing?
- Do you do heavy drugs or have any substance abuse issues?
- Sell me this new beer product and tell me how you'll get it into bars.
Brand Manager
I had a good conversation with management, they clearly explained the company and I liked their directness. They asked standard questions, and answered all of my questions thoroughly.
- What motivates your interest in a Brand Manager role?
Merchandiser
This was a quick interview, under 20 minutes, for an entry-level merchandiser role. It covered standard interview questions.
- What made you pick our company over others?
