I was contacted by a headhunter for a Transportation Manager role. I expressed interest and had an initial chat. About a week later, I had an in-person interview. Another week passed, and I thought I was selected, with a meeting scheduled for final details. However, the third meeting was actually another interview. When I asked the headhunter, they explained they decided to do a final interview, and I was one of two candidates. This was a bit irritating but understandable. After a month of no contact, the recruiter called again, saying I was selected and would get an offer call the next day. But just before the scheduled call, the recruiter informed me they were rescinding the offer and restarting the search. I was shocked, having been offered the job twice only for it to be taken away. It makes me wonder how they treat employees if this is how they interview.

Started with a call from HR to get the interview set up. Then there was one round with the hiring manager and HR. The hiring manager asked about the details and job nature of my past roles from the resume. HR asked about my ability to commute to remote industrial zones daily for the job.

Applied online, which was easy. About 2 weeks later, I got a rejection email for this role, but another email said one of my other applications was still being considered. Three days later, I got another email to set up a phone interview for the position I was rejected from. I did the phone screen and was scheduled for an interview at a location. I was confused why I was going through this since they rejected me, but maybe the email was sent by mistake or they wanted to reconsider? The actual interview was with a woman who was completely unprofessional. She refused my handshake and was rude throughout the interview process. The entire interview felt like she was just padding out time so she didn't have to deal with something else.
