This was a super frustrating and disappointing experience. After almost two months of interviewing, I was offered the job and accepted, but then Daymar rescinded the offer the business day before I was supposed to start. They claimed it was due to internal miscommunication and that they couldn't support the position because of the workload and an upcoming buyout. I even called them just to show my excitement about starting and ask if I needed to bring anything, and they still hadn't planned to tell me. This is tough because I quit my old job and turned down a promotion to work for them. This means lost wages for me. Just be really careful if you're thinking about working there. They've got a lot to sort out after losing accreditation and a lot of students. Plus, they're trying to get bought out by another company. I'd stay away for a while until they get their stuff together. I get that things don't always work out, but their actions were incredibly unprofessional and careless with my time and career, and I'm still dealing with the consequences. It was just totally irresponsible.

The campus director was super nice but definitely business-minded. The questions were different, not the usual 'Where do you see yourself?' or 'Tell me about yourself.' Instead, his questions really got into the career itself. He reviewed my transcripts and asked stuff based on the job I applied for to check my subject knowledge. It was refreshing because he seemed to care about me as a person but also was serious about hiring the right fit. It’s rare to have an interview that’s out of the ordinary and lets you show what you know in your field in a comfortable and professional setting.

The interview process begins quite impersonally with an online application and a group interview. However, it becomes much more engaging and personal after the group interview concludes. Candidates are given a tour, introduced to people working in various departments, and even meet potential supervisors before an offer is extended. While the actual job experience may not be as ideal as presented during the interviews, it was still a positive experience overall.

Behavioral Group Presentation

I applied online and went through a group interview, then a management interview. After that, I toured the facilities and had some chats with the current staff. It was a really good vibe, made me want to join. They even had a "gotcha day" celebration for someone during my visit and they seem to really appreciate their employees' work anniversaries.
