- Why are you interested in this position at this place?
CNA
administration called to set up an in-person interview, and then I had to apply online if I hadn't already. After that, there was a background and drug test, and then a follow-up call asking if I still wanted the job.
- What makes you want to work in a Long Term Care facility?
Nursing Home Administrator
I started with an online application, and about two weeks later, the RDO called me to set up an interview for the following week. The first interview was at the actual building and lasted around 30 minutes. They asked me about my experience with accounting and surveys, as well as my management approach and daily tasks. After that, I was invited for another interview at their corporate office in Denton, TX, and they covered my travel expenses. That interview felt pretty good; the corporate team was really down-to-earth and easy to talk to.
- What unique skills do you possess that would benefit this facility?
Marketing
It was the worst interview i've ever had. The interviewers didn't even know I was coming in that day. Once we finally sat down for the interview, I was told some information you do not share with anyone unless they are already hired. I took the job anyway, I needed the money and experience on my resume.
