First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Daw Se.
Product Manager
First round was remote with HR and the hiring manager, a very pleasant conversation about personality, the business area, and basics about the role. Second round was onsite with HR and the hiring manager, covering more details about the job requirements, the work environment and company structure, salary negotiation, and a short tour of the premises.

Consultant
Getting started was already difficult, as apparently the technical equipment there didn't work. Afterwards, very strange questions were asked that had nothing to do with the job and weren't typical recruiting questions either.

International Management
The application process for DAW SE's International Management Trainee program is well-organized, transparent, and fair. First, you send in your full application, including CV, cover letter, university and work references, and any other documents. After a quick review, you'll hear back about a Skype, phone, or in-person interview in Ober-Ramstadt, depending on where you live, but they're treated the same. The interview focuses on your background and why you want this specific job, plus you get details about the program and contract. If that goes well, the next step is a 1.5-day assessment center in Ober-Ramstadt. If you get an offer, they'll let you know the same day after the AC; if not, you'll hear back about a week later. About 1-2 weeks after the AC offer, contract details and start date are sorted out. The AC starts on Day 1 with a factory tour and a chance to meet other candidates. In the evening, two former trainees introduce the program and answer questions. Then, the six observers arrive, and you'll give your pre-prepared presentation in English. After that, there's a get-together. Day 2 starts with an optional breakfast, and at 8 AM, the task marathon begins. You'll face group and individual tasks, both technical and personal, throughout the day, with observers ensuring they see every candidate. Lunch is included. Around 4 PM, the tasks usually wrap up, and you head home while the observers deliberate and make a decision. Overall, the entire process is transparent and very friendly. The AC observers are nice, so don't be nervous – they're mainly looking for people who fit in personally at DAW.
