The HR person was super nice and told me how the interview was gonna go. The part that sucked was that I had to make a marketing strategy for a real client they have, plus create some mockups and analyze their audience. I had a whole week to do it. I really don't like doing free work, especially for actual clients. I wouldn't mind if it was for a made-up client, but I'm not gonna do a week's worth of unpaid work for a real company.

It was a professional but fast interview. They asked me about my past experience and if I'd be a good fit for the company culture. An HR person interviewed me. They mainly wanted to know if I was eager to learn while interning. I heard back about getting the offer about a week after.

The interview process is pretty straightforward. They just need to know you're not a complete weirdo and have a solid portfolio. I've seen folks get offers on the spot with less-than-stellar books. You'll have a chat with the HR Director and one of the Creative Directors. If they vibe with you (especially if they sense any vulnerability), you might get a freelance trial run or a full-time offer within a few days.

The hiring process was really long, maybe because of holidays. I had 4 interviews and a bunch of detailed follow-up email questions over more than 3 months. I even had to reach out more than a week after my last interview to find out I didn't get the job.
