Master Data Specialist
This was honestly one of the most unprofessional interviews I've ever had. It started almost 10 minutes late. They were polite at first, but it went downhill fast. They invited me knowing I didn't have some qualifications they listed on my CV and after I specifically asked if they were required, and they said no. But then most questions were about those exact qualifications. The interviewer was also unprofessional, showing frustration and making dismissive gestures while his colleague asked about skills he'd already said weren't needed. The other person involved seemed disengaged and her audio was bad, making it hard to understand her. When I asked her to repeat herself, she got annoyed instead of just repeating it. The whole thing felt disorganized, disrespectful, and discouraging, not what I'd expect from a big company.
- If data integrity is compromised, what actions would a master data management or governance expert take to pinpoint and fix the problem?
Data Analyst
So, there were two stages in the interview process. First, we had a share screen session where I was asked SQL and Python questions. Honestly, it would be much easier if you just practice LeetCode problems and get comfortable with them beforehand.
- Can you tell me about yourself and give an overview of your project?
- A Python question was asked.
- A SQL question was asked.
Key Account Manager
The interview process starts with the recruiter. During the interview, HR India provided incorrect information about the sales incentive policy and there wasn't a significant salary increase. HR India assured me not to worry about salary and mentioned good incentive schemes that would result in substantial earnings, stating the global incentive structure applied to all employees. As a sales professional, I focused on driving sales, protecting existing business, and securing new projects to maximize incentives/bonuses. However, despite over three years with the company and exceeding targets by more than 100%, I never received the incentives promised. The support from the line manager for employee benefits was lacking, and MBOs or incentive/bonus attainment were never discussed as HR had indicated. When I questioned HR India, I was told to speak with the line manager, who never addressed it. The environment seemed politically charged. Regarding other HR policies, they were poor and negligible; you can't expect good policies or benefits from Datwyler, as it's a politically driven company, hindering career growth. The employee exit policy was particularly unethical and poor. They took advantage and were rude during my exit, unilaterally deciding my last working day without inquiring about the notice period, making for a ruthless departure. I cannot recommend this poor management team in India.
- HR (India) had given the wrong information about the sales incentive policy, and there was no desirable salary hike. When I asked HR-India, he told me that don't worry of salary, we will have good incentive schemes in place you would get good amount of incentive.
- Global incentive structure applicable to all employees. As a sales professional, I always work in such a way that brings a good amount of sales ( protecting existing business and adding a lot of new development projects) and ultimately would get the benefit of an incentive/bonus. I have spent more than 3 years, but I never get any incentive as they mentioned even though we achieved our budget/target ( more than 100%).
- Totally trash, no line manager support to get the benefits of the employee, never ever talk about MBO and how to get incentive/bonus as HR mentioned. When I asked HR India, he told me to speak with the line manager, the line manager never look into that.
Business Architect
The interview process involves a telephonic round, followed by a technical interview over Skype/Webex related to your domain. Then there's an in-person stage, and finally an HR round. You can get through the whole process if you're well-prepared. It's nothing out of the ordinary, you just need to justify what you're saying.
- Questions about your domain
- Telephonic technical questions related to your domain over Skype/Webex
- Questions during the in-person interview
