First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Datrose.
Service Desk Technician
It was a 2 step process. First, I got a phone call, then they wanted me to come into the office. Once in the office, I met with the hiring manager, and after that, I met with the Call Center Manager. Then they called me and offered me the job.
- Could you explain the procedure for deleting drivers?
- What would be your approach when dealing with a customer who refuses to troubleshoot?
- Can you tell me about your experience setting up computers?
Customer Service Representative
I got referred by a friend who works there. I emailed the HR director directly about job openings. They replied the next day saying there were jobs and told me how to apply online. I applied and heard back about 2 days later to schedule an interview. The interview was just me and one interviewer, lasted about 1.5-2 hours, and had pretty standard questions. It felt like they were more focused on my answers than if I'd be a good fit for them. They mentioned the benefits (not great), the schedule, and advancement options (hard to balance work/life, not many chances to move up). But, I needed a job, so I decided to move forward with it.
- Could you share your biggest weakness?
- What are your career aspirations for the next 5 years?
- What motivates you to want to join our company?
Operations Manager
I had a phone screen with HR where we discussed the role and they were very open about the company and salary. After that, I had an in-person interview with the CEO and VP of HR. It was a free-flowing conversation, with the CEO mostly observing and the VP being very polite and professional. They were pleasant people.
- Could you list the metrics typically used for managing a call center?
Technical Support
It was mostly about customer service skills. They wanted to see if I could handle people who aren't tech-savvy on the phone and stay professional. They also asked about my availability for shifts and overtime, if I speak more than one language, if I've handled lots of calls before, and if I can keep up with new tech and support info.
- How flexible are you with your work schedule and working overtime?
