I applied and heard from the recruiter in 2 days. First, there was a quick 15-25 min informal chat to get to know me. After that, I had an Infra interview with the Lead Infrastructure Engineer at Datatron. The recruiter let me know about the next steps the same day. Those next steps included a non-tech round with the lead Data Scientist and a technical coding round with a Backend Engineer. Heard back the next day for the final rounds. It was one round with the Engineering Manager and one round with the CEO. All interviews were about 45mins - 1hr, except the first pre-screening one. The recruiter was really good at keeping me updated. The engineers were smart but down-to-earth. They really seem to care about company culture and fitting into a fast-paced startup.

Technical Coding

This was the least professional company experience I've had. It started with a technical phone screen, then an on-site interview. When I arrived, they didn't seem to expect me. A new hire, who had only been there for 3 days, conducted the first round. They then struggled to find someone for a second round for about 15 minutes. The office was messy, like a dorm, with cheap furniture. Both interviewers were on their phones during the interview. The questions weren't too difficult, and the interviewer mentioned I made it look 'easy.' The interview ended over 2 hours early, skipping the other two rounds mentioned on Glassdoor, without meeting anyone else, without asking me about myself, and without telling me much about the company. They said I'd hear back 'very soon' but never contacted me or responded. This was especially frustrating as I drove 3 hours for it. I'd avoid this place unless you want your time disrespected.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

This was the worst interview I have ever had. The phone screening went well, I had a positive experience. However, when I had the second round design interview, the interviewer was extremely rude to me. First off, he did not ask me a single interview question about my qualifications or past experience, instead he went through my portfolio site for what seemed like the first time ever. I asked if he wanted me to explain the projects, but he said no. He even said to my face that all my designs on my portfolio website were bad. Overall, this interviewer was extremely rude and unprofessional.

Behavioral Technical

The initial recruiter call went well and they were excited about the company. However, after meeting with leadership, I found them to be narrow-minded, disorganized, and lacking a clear path to future success. They still have a lot of work to do to build a solid hiring process and a positive candidate experience. I was pretty underwhelmed by the overall interview process.
