I applied online on April 16th, 2024 and heard back on April 18th for an interview with the recruiter on April 23rd. This first interview was to see if I was a good fit for the role and if the role was a good fit for me. Next, I interviewed with the hiring manager on May 1st, which went great – their approach was just like mine, so I felt really comfortable. Then, on May 3rd, I had a third interview with a CSM peer. This person was knowledgeable, humble, and really nice, making it a great experience. The final interview was with the VP of Account Management and Renewals on May 6th. They were also super nice and shared the same great qualities as the CSM peer. By this point, I was sure I wanted the job because I enjoyed talking with everyone. On May 8th, the recruiter emailed with an offer, which was fantastic news! I really appreciated how efficient the hiring process was, and the communication with the recruiter, Ariel, throughout was brilliant. Overall, it was a really great interview experience.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I went through 5 interviews for a role covering Southern Europe, and the recruiter gave me a verbal offer. She detailed the compensation, we set a start date, and I sent my address for the contract. She mentioned it needed approval and she'd call back in 3 days to confirm I was still interested, as I was also a finalist with another company. I later requested a start date change due to a personal event, which led to the cancellation of our scheduled call. Things then took a strange turn. The following week, she called to discuss the start date, and I found out they were still interviewing other candidates, even though she claimed to be awaiting approvals. This seemed odd, especially after a verbal offer. It became clear they had rescinded the offer and I wouldn't get a written one. The recruiter didn't admit fault, acting as if keeping the process open post-verbal offer was normal. It's unclear if it was her oversight or the hiring manager's decision. The final insult was the rejection: after investing time and effort, I received a generic two-line email with no feedback, instead of a call. I'm probably better off not joining them, as employee well-being doesn't seem to be a priority. I was surprised, having read positive reviews about their recruiters, as mine offered little support. When I asked about interview topics, she vaguely mentioned assessing coachability, communication, and intelligence, and suggested checking LinkedIn profiles – hardly helpful for 5 interviews. They also don't send out recruitment experience surveys, indicating a lack of care.

So, I had an interview scheduled, the first round was with this really high-level exec, but they ghosted me! It was supposed to be at 10:30 PM my time. Then HR got involved, found me a new interviewer for the first round, and we set up a time, but I ended up needing to reschedule. I sent a bunch of emails, even declined the calendar invite, but still no response, and weirdly the interviewer still called in. HR reached out again, I picked some times, and... crickets. Nothing further.
