Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Dataiku.
Intern
After sending in a spontaneous application, I had a phone interview with two of the four founders, lasting about an hour. Then, I waited about a month and a half for a response. Since it was a development internship, the recruitment process is probably lighter than for a permanent position. There were technical questions as well as questions about my general preferences (startup vs. IT services company environment, autonomy, career goals, etc.).
- What do you want to focus your work on?
Intern
It had many stages but was relatively faster than other companies. The process was: Recruiter call, solve an assignment, interview with managers, then a cultural interview.
- What made you choose this company?
- What influenced your decision to apply for this specific role?
- Can you explain how your past experiences align with the requirements of this position?
Administrative Intern
It was a good and enjoyable process with good communication. They responded promptly after the interviews. The recruiters gave advice and info about the company's important parts. I didn't have to follow up. Overall, a good experience.
- Tell me about your experience as it relates to the job description.
