I sent in my application online and then a recruiter from Singapore got in touch via email. They explained the steps: first, there's a Hackerrank assessment. After that, I'd interview with the hiring manager to discuss my background, projects, and tools, and to understand my motivation for this support engineering role. Then, I'd chat with some engineers on the team about scenarios, like managing multiple tickets and handling challenging customers. Following that, there's a live troubleshooting session where I'd need to role-play, asking questions about the problem presented, and I'd be given documentation. Finally, a conversation with a director about career aspirations and how Datadog fits in.

I chatted with the recruiter, and they asked me some initial questions about my background. Unfortunately, I got rejected right away because I didn't have enough Linux experience. The recruiter seemed nice, though.

I applied for the Technical Support Engineer role in Mexico City. First, a recruiter reached out on LinkedIn for a chat about the job, my background, and salary. Then, I had a Zoom call with a Technical Solutions Manager where we discussed my IT experience, company knowledge, and some behavioral questions. Next was a timed take-home assessment with three problems: one SQL, one script writing, and setting up an Agent in a VM. The final stage was on-site interviews, including an introduction/cultural connect with behavioral questions, a pair troubleshooting session simulating a customer fixing Datadog Agent issues, and a meeting with the TSE Director. The process felt a bit long, and I noticed a strong focus on Datadog-specific questions. If you haven't used Datadog before, definitely spend time with their agent before the assessment. I was a little surprised by the benefits offered in Mexico City, but the director mentioned they're working on improving them. The overall process was fine, and I appreciated the offer for feedback after rejection.

My Datadog integration isn't working, I can't see the expected metrics. I've set up the Windows Agent and the integration configuration, but I'm still not getting data. I even reinstalled the agent and encountered some errors related to Azure metadata endpoints and a yaml config file validation. Can you help me figure out what's wrong so I can get this integration working?
