HR screening, then a HackerRank assessment, followed by an interview with the Hiring Manager. After that, there was a Peer Interview with an Account Executive, and another Peer Interview with a Sales Engineer. Then, a Demo Presentation was scheduled, and finally, an interview with the Director. The whole process was very smooth overall.

I'd suggest avoiding interviewing here unless you've got a solid connection within the Sales team already. It really seems like the company might have someone in mind internally and is just going through the motions with interviews to check boxes, avoid bias claims, or scope out available talent. I personally put in tons of interview hours—a technical assignment, quiz, presentation, and interviews with four colleagues, plus three or four more chats with the recruiter. By the time I got to the hiring manager, it was obvious my resume was disregarded from the jump. I've noticed the same job postings disappear and then reappear weeks later. They don't offer any feedback, just the generic 'we're going in a different direction.' It's a shame to waste a candidate's time like that.

The interview process began with a recruiter phone screen, followed by a 30-minute meeting with the hiring manager. Next was a challenging 3-hour take-home exercise on HackerRank that required technical skills in Kubernetes and Nginx, involving deploying a Datadog agent and creating metrics with Python on a provided VM, using their documentation. Questions also touched upon REST APIs. This exercise was open-book, allowing the use of docs, AI, etc. After submitting the take-home, there was a panel interview with the hiring team. I didn't receive any feedback after the panel interview, despite reaching out to the recruiter and coordinator multiple times. I had accepted another offer by then and withdrew my application. It's disappointing to spend hours on a technical take-home and then be ghosted. The interviewers in the panel didn't ask engaging questions, and the role didn't seem like a good fit for me after that. Recruiters should provide feedback, positive or negative.
