Software Engineer
So for the hiring process, it usually kicks off with a chat with the recruiter to go over your background, what you're looking for, and if you seem like a good fit. After that, you'll likely have an interview with the hiring manager to dive more into your experience and technical chops. Then there's a technical assessment to see how you handle problems and if you know your stuff for the role. We also do a culture fit and leadership round.

Product Manager
The recruiter gave me a call first to gauge my interest and then I had a phone interview with the hiring manager. It was a really open chat where we both made sure it was a good fit. The recruiter then quickly set up the final round, which was a panel presentation where I had to present past projects and a case study. I heard back with positive feedback a few days later. The whole process was super smooth and they kept me updated.
- Can you tell me about a project you're particularly proud of?
Administrative Manager
The process wasn't really laid out beforehand, but it kicked off with a phone call. Then, there were four separate Zoom meetings with different managers and executives. They also had me do an Excel exercise. Everything felt pretty good, and I got really positive feedback at each stage. After I spoke with the CEO, I was told to expect an offer letter the next day, which was a Saturday, and they asked if I could start the following week. But, no offer letter showed up. On Sunday, one of the managers called and basically went over the offer details verbally (like salary, benefits, PTO) and said I had until Tuesday to decide. Still, no actual written offer to look at or sign. Then, Monday morning, the same manager called to say the offer was off the table because I suddenly wasn't a good fit anymore. My references were never contacted. I thought the whole thing was super unorganized and handled terribly. To make a candidate think they've got the job, then have nothing for two days, and then pull the offer before it's even sent is just really unprofessional. Honestly, I suspect asking for the written offer before accepting the verbal one might have been the issue. But as someone who would have been managing the onboarding, you'd think they'd want me to review the contract properly first. Later on Monday, the CEO called to apologize and said the rescinded offer was due to internal disorganization. Seems like they really need an Administrative Manager.
- What's your approach to onboarding a new employee when everything is remote?
Product Analytics Manager
The whole process was incredibly straightforward and well organized. After applying, a senior recruiter reached out after only two days to schedule the first round, which was a 30 minute video call with him to review the role, the team, and my qualifications. It was very conversational and gave me a great sense of the process and what they were looking for in this role. The second stage was a 45 minute call with the hiring manager, which was split between questions she had for me and questions I had for her, which I really appreciated to help us both evaluate fit. After this round, everything moved quite quickly. I met with her again a week later to review a take home assignment (Monday). Then two days later I had a technical interview (Wednesday). And finally had a panel interview with the product team on Friday. I had an offer in hand by the end of the day. Throughout the process, I really appreciated how much the time the team took to answer my questions, how rigorous but also speedy the interview process was, and how upfront everyone was about feedback and expectations. The recruiting team went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed and did a great job scheduling around everyone’s busy schedules.
