The interviewer was on time and started going over my resume and skills, concentrating only on my copywriting abilities. They quickly asked about my salary expectations. When I provided the typical industry range, the interviewer stated, 'To be honest with you, we're not going to pay that.' It turned out they had already hired someone for the role but were looking for a specialist in copywriting, even though I, and others, had applied for a MULTIMEDIA position. Copywriting is one of my skills, but I would never have applied for a role solely focused on copywriting. The required skills, pay, and job duties are very different. I can only guess that management put the interviewer in this position and that they didn't want to post a new job opening for a different role to fill the position quickly. I'm shocked and disappointed by their actions for deliberately misleading and wasting everyone's time.

It was a smooth and flexible process. I liked management, and it went well. I enjoyed the position. The pay is moderate, and I don't have any complaints. I appreciate the opportunity. I liked the work environment.

Got a call 3-4 weeks after applying online. Then I went in for an interview where I talked to HR, then a project manager, and then back to HR. They said they'd email an offer letter. After accepting, the background check started. I filled out some online info, had a drug test, and that took 2.5 weeks. After passing, I got a call and then an email with general info for setting up their system, like 1040, social security, etc., all online. I also had to sign confidentiality, non-disclosure, and a non-compete agreement online. Then I went in for my first day. The whole process is pretty long and maybe not worth the initial pay, but it pays off eventually.

I was first reached out to for a recruiter screen, and after that went well, I did a 1:1 Zoom interview. This went very well, and I was sent to a final interview that was 2:1. (This was with would-be peers, not a hiring manager.) This was where everything went downhill. One interviewer was at a marketing event with crowds of conference-goers loudly talking all around her, so I could hardly hear her speak. The other had technical difficulties and was only present for half of the interview. Could hardly hear either of them, and I'm sure that reflected in my answers and the reason I was rejected.
