First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at DATA Inc..
Software Engineer
It was tough but fair. There were 5 interviews and the people were helpful. The interviewers had a lot of questions and asked many similar questions throughout the process. The interviews were scheduled back-to-back over 2 days, which felt long and tiring.
- Can you explain your reasoning for selecting Node.js as the backend framework for your website?
Business Analyst
I had two video call interviews. The first was a standard call. However, the second call involved five interviewers and lasted for two hours. It felt very positive and they seemed to like everything. It's unclear what caused the disconnect between the client and the consultant team. Unfortunately, the recruiters lacked the courtesy to provide feedback on whether the interview was cleared.

Senior Quality Assurance Engineer
I had one interview with the manager. They asked some general questions about my background. You need to know some JAVA related questions and be able to explain what you are doing in your current position. You should know what you are doing, and know more about your project and tasks.
- Tell me about your background.
- Do you know JAVA?
- What are you doing at your current position?
Technical Recruiter
I applied online and heard back within two weeks for two interview rounds, one by phone and another in person. About two weeks after that, I was offered the position.
- What Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) are you familiar with, what technologies have you used, and what are the current trending technologies you've observed?
