First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Data Cubed.
Project Manager
I saw the job on LinkedIn and sent in my application. A recruiter reached out via LinkedIn message to set up a quick 15-minute call. I let them know when I was free, and we did the call. It felt kind of awkward, and the interviewer didn't seem too engaged. I never heard back after trying to follow up.
- What is your proudest achievement as a project manager?
Data Scientist
I had an online assessment with git trivia and some simple Leetcode type problems. Then I interviewed with two people from the team, which was mostly about culture fit and my past projects. After that, I had an interview with the head of the software team where they asked about my previous SWE experience. Finally, I interviewed with the head of the data team, which was similar to the other interview.
- Can you explain the differences between git merge, rebase, and squash operations?
Associate
The interview process was fine but I lost interest along the way. It was a typical interview with three rounds and a fairly quick process. I wasn’t given an offer at the end as my background was not 100% aligned.
- Can you tell me about yourself and share some relatable experiences?
Marketing
The interview process felt easy and direct. They asked relevant questions and invited me to ask my own. They seemed more interested in my activities outside of academics than my grades. It was a friendly chat, though it did take a while.
