It was pretty relaxed and not formal at all. They're looking for people who are dependable. They'll ask you stuff to get to know you and your past work history. The district manager is super nice, so it's easy to talk to her. Make sure you have a good reason for wanting to work at Darque, 'free tanning' is not it. If you show your personality, you'll probably get the job.

You get a call from the manager for an interview to meet them and get interviewed. If they like you, you go to corporate to meet the HR Director, pick up uniforms and nametag, and drop off hiring packet. Then before you start working, you train for 24 hours with the manager of the store location one on one. You have online training as well to learn everything easier. Then, you get tested on the info.

I was in a bright room, the sun was in my eyes the whole time, and one woman was running around helping customers while asking me questions. She was nice but really overworked. She mentioned that the whole place was video monitored and recorded constantly, and I would need to watch what I say if I got the job. It was pretty rough trying to answer questions with my eyes watering from the direct sunlight.
