First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Danone.
Product Manager
It was a fast process, first an interview with HR, and if selected, a second interview with the manager(s). Quick responses from both interviews.
- What are the company's values?
Digital Product Manager
The process was not very transparent and felt like a waste of time. Because it was so quick (they only used 15 of the scheduled 30 minutes) and they asked so few questions, it didn't seem like they were really interested. They rushed through explaining the benefits, giving me barely any chance to ask questions. They promised to contact me in a few days, regardless of whether I continued in the process, but they never did. I received an automatic email two months later. It would be helpful if they didn't waste candidates' time, which is also very valuable.
- Can you tell us about your professional background?
- Could you describe a project you found challenging and elaborate on the reasons why?
Assistant Product Manager
Had a call with HR (10min max). Then I was invited to assessment days: company presentation, group interview, and a chat with the interns on site. There was an individual Excel test. Finally, I had an interview with two managers. It took a very long time to get a negative response (at least 1 month).
- Which product drives the category (depending on the brand you are interviewing with)?
- How would you make the packaging more attractive to younger people?
- If you were a Danone brand, which one would you be?
