The hiring manager really drilled down on questions about past company performance, some of which involved metrics that are hard to quantify. They also seemed to place too much emphasis on technical skills that could easily be taught. I think they should have focused more on getting to know the candidate's personality and fit instead.

First, they give you some online tests. This is where they do the initial screening. Then, you have an interview with the candidates who passed the online test. In this interview, you are given a briefing and you have to collaborate with your assigned team. After this, there is only one candidate left who will have the face-to-face interview with their manager.

After a written application, there was a very pleasant typical phone call with questions about the resume. After successfully passing, you are invited to an online test, which did not count towards the evaluation, but Danone wants to see and develop strengths and weaknesses. Before the selection day, you were invited to a cooking event, which was very pleasant because you could ask employees about the position and the company in a very relaxed atmosphere. They organized it so that every applicant had the opportunity to talk to different employees at least once. This personal get-to-know-you (also among the applicants) is a good idea because it made the selection day more relaxed. In general, the Danone employees were very open, and you could tell that working together is very important to them. On the following day, the AC followed - consisting of a self-presentation in English, a case study (with 30 minutes preparation time), and a group discussion. The case study was manageable, even though time was tight. It consisted of describing a market, and you had to convince a "customer" to list the product. After this first part (from about 9 am to 3 pm including lunch), only those who convinced the assessors were invited to the second round. In general, I found the AC very structured, there were enough breaks in between, and the observers were all very open-minded and interested in the candidates. It was a very good experience!
