Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Danfoss.
Software Developer
The interview process with Danfoss was good and positive. The interviewers were professional, friendly, and well-prepared, creating a comfortable atmosphere. The questions were insightful and relevant, allowing me to effectively showcase my skills and experience. Overall, it was an engaging and encouraging experience.
- What motivates you in a job?
Software Engineer
I had to travel to Chennai for the interview and was told I'd get an allowance for my ticket. After waiting an hour at reception, HR called me to the interview room. The interview started around 11:45 AM and finished about 4:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break and a 10-minute break at 3:10 PM. A week later, I was asked to complete a psychometric assessment and submit my documents. I never heard back from Danfoss after that. The HR acquisition process was really bad; they didn't even update me on my status. They didn't seem to value my time or money. I didn't receive my travel allowance or hotel accommodation reimbursement. It wasn't a good experience.
- Can you tell me about how you would approach fixing coding errors?
- Describe your process for debugging code.
- What are your thoughts on how to enhance code quality?
Software Engineer
It was good but they mentioned they'd contact me when they have an opening. They really shouldn't keep a candidate hanging or say they're waitlisted. My resume got selected, but after I answered all the questions, they said they needed to review my projects.
- Can you tell me about digital electronics?
- What about UP?
- And UC?
