It was a really good experience, and the interview manager was super helpful. The whole thing wrapped up in about two weeks, and I didn't have to wait ages. Onboarding was a breeze too, really efficient. Lots to learn.

I'm a final year Mtech CAD/CAM student from VIT Chennai. Danfoss came to our campus for internships, offering 13k per month. I cleared the initial test, which was pretty easy if you've prepared for GATE; most questions were purely technical. They conducted a GD to shortlist students for interviews. I was in a group of 6 students with 3 judges, and the topic was 'Smart Cities'. I cleared the GD round and finally got selected for the interview process. The initial interview went really well; I answered all questions correctly except one. HR and Technical questions were asked simultaneously by two interviewers from Danfoss. After all interviews were done, we found out they were asking the same technical and HR questions to all students in the same order. The selection was strictly based on knowledge of CFD with Ansys; no other skills were considered. I wasn't selected, but it was a good experience.

I interviewed in May 2017 through a campus drive at VIT, Vellore. There were 4 rounds. The first was a home-based technical test. Even though I'm from CS, the test was electronics-based, but I managed to pass. Then there was a group discussion with 8 members where we had to pick a topic. The third round was a behavior-based game played on Android. Finally, there was a technical interview.
