I applied for the job in early Feb 2024, and about 3 weeks later the hiring manager, Johan Van Beek, texted me asking for my availability for a call the next morning. The call was about 20 minutes, friendly and introductory. A few days after that, a recruiter called me and invited me for a face-to-face interview at the Kolding hub. I also got a link to take a cognitive/behavioral test. The interview was with two senior innovators and the recruiter, scheduled for 45 minutes but it went a bit over, about 55 minutes. After the interview, I got a tour of the office/workshop area which took another 25 minutes. Sadly, a week later the recruiter called to say they decided not to move forward with my application. Even though I didn't get the job, the effort they put into the recruitment process was amazing and gave me a really good experience. When I left the Kolding Hub, I felt confident I would get the job because of the kind words and expressed excitement during the interview, which was a bit naive, but it shows how the process boosted my confidence.

So the process started with a call from HR in India to confirm my interest and availability for a video call with the hiring manager. Then, I had a one-hour video interview with the department manager via Teams. It was a really friendly and direct chat, mostly focusing on my resume and past experience. After that, I had to complete some online cognitive and behavioral tests, which took about 20 minutes in total. The next step was a face-to-face meeting at the company office with both the department manager and the manager of another department that collaborates with mine. Following that, the HR person from India called again to discuss my online test results. Finally, the department manager called to offer me the position. Overall, the whole process felt logical, straightforward, and clear. The Danfoss team was consistently friendly and respectful, and open to talking things through.

I was so happy to hear I made it past the HR round for the job I applied for! But right after the good news, I found out the company put a freeze on hiring. So, my offer got paused and then cancelled. It really stinks, but I get that stuff like this happens and it's not really anyone's fault.
