The process was really nice and casual. After sending my application, I got a phone call with some initial questions and to set up an interview during the university Career Day. At the meeting, the recruiter explained the company, work environment, and internship duties in detail. I was asked some easy questions about my university projects and language skills. The vibe was positive and professional.

So I had 3 rounds for this Software Engineer role. The first was a coding round, where I was given two problems, one easy and one medium. Each had a time limit: 30 minutes for the easy one and an hour for the medium. If I got both solutions right, I'd hear back about the next stage. The second round was a technical interview. The interviewer was really nice, asked me to introduce myself and talk about my projects, then we got into coding questions. Started with bubble sort, then another easy one. Nail those and explain them, and you move on. The last round was with the manager. They were also super polite, went over my resume, and asked general stuff like my strengths and weaknesses.

Confirmed questions5 questions
  • Could you implement bubble sort?
  • What do you know about garbage collectors?
  • Can you explain JDBC?

So basically, you first apply online with your resume and maybe a cover letter. If they like it, you get a first call, like a phone or video call, with HR. They just wanna see, like, if you're a good fit and talk about your experience. Then, if you pass that, you get invited for in-person interviews. These could be with your boss or team, or even a panel. Sometimes they'll give you a practical test or something related to the job. They try to keep you updated and move things along pretty fast, usually done in a few weeks.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Can you tell me about your background, what your strengths are, and where you think your weaknesses lie?
