The initial step was a phone call, likely for a preliminary assessment of basic information about the role, the company, and your qualifications. About four weeks after that, there was a Teams video interview. This meeting included someone from HR and the head of the department. The purpose was to get a more in-depth look at both your technical skills and personal abilities to gauge your suitability for the position. Another four weeks later, an in-person meeting took place at the company's location. This allowed for a deeper impression, a chance to see the company and its facilities, and possibly meet other team members.

My interview was in June 2021 for an apprentice engineer role. It was remote on Microsoft Teams and done at the same time with the HR advisor and my future manager. It lasted about 40 minutes and was the only interview I had (a 2-in-1). I got an offer quickly (called within 48 hours). I think not all recruitment processes are this fast for other apprentices, but my profile was a really good fit. The weirdest thing was I was the only one with my camera on, maybe for tech reasons.

I had applied through a forum from my school and was contacted two weeks later for an interview at Daher in Saint-Nazaire in April 2016. The interview lasted about an hour. I had to explain my student background and also justify my professional experiences. There were 3 people in front of me: the HR manager, and 2 quality and continuous improvement engineers. They were very thorough about my experiences, and I had about 3/4 questions on each experience. What they were looking for was that I could highlight the key skills I had acquired from those experiences, and since it was my first interview ever, I don't think I was very well prepared for it. Once the interview was over, I went home and was called back 3 days later for a debrief. They told me I lacked synthesis skills and that I should prepare better for interviews because my CV matched the offer very well and I had the right experiences for the internship.
